Tax Bracket Thermometer is designed so that your financial information never leaves your device. This page explains exactly what that means.

What we collect

Nothing. Tax Bracket Thermometer does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal information, financial data, or usage data of any kind.

Where your data lives

Everything you enter — pay stub amounts, household details, income, filing status, and any other figures — is stored only in your device's local UserDefaults storage. It:

• never leaves your iPhone
• is never sent to us, to any server, or to any third party
• is not backed up to any service we control (standard iCloud/iTunes device backups, if you have those enabled, are managed entirely by Apple and your device settings — not by this app)
• is permanently deleted the moment you uninstall the app

Third parties

Tax Bracket Thermometer contains no analytics software, no advertising software development kits (SDKs), no crash-reporting services, and makes no network requests of any kind. There are no user accounts, no sign-in, and no way for the app to identify you.

Children's privacy

Because the app collects no data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect data from children under 13 or any other age.

Changes to this policy

If this app's data practices ever change — for example, if a future version adds an optional feature that requires network access — this page will be updated first, and the update will be reflected in the app's App Store listing.
